Portland Collaboration 2004
Overview
Bob Lockwood & Barnaby King, founder members of The Kelman Group, are working with Scott Kelman and his group on a number of projects - performance & workshop - over the next six weeks (September to November).
The trip will include:
- Documentation of the core Kelman Work techniques. This is a continuation from the last trip towards the long-term goal of a publication about the work.
- Continuing to exchange ideas and extensions to the work made by the Kelman Group and Scott's Portland group. This has been a busy year for both groups and the work has undergone considerable development. This is a chance to compare notes and broaden the work of both groups.
- Collaborating in making some performance work. Bob and Barn will contributing to the groups latest piece "Incredible Things Happen On The Way" as well as composing some short chamber pieces.
