Portland Collaboration with Scott Kelman in 2003
Overview
Bob Lockwood, founder member of The Kelman Group, gained Arts Council funding to work with Scott Kelman and his group for six weeks during June and July 2003. He conducted interviews and took audio and video of workshops.
The trip comprised:
- Documentation of the core Kelman Work techniques
- Exchange of ideas and extensions to the work made by the Kelman Group and Scott's Portland group.
- Collaborating in making some performance work.
A central long-term aim is to put together a publication (book/CD ROM) about the work, it's background, development and influences.
What's here
In this section of the site you'll find a daily web journal (lots of observations about the whole process and the people involved), a photo gallery and information about the performance-making, "(incredible)Things Happen On The Way To Other Places", we embarked on.
This work is supported by Arts Council Yorkshire.
